About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead public infrastructure projects focused on roadway signage, traffic signals, lighting, and related improvements ranging from $1 million to $10+ million. This role requires an individual with strong leadership, planning, and civil construction experience, ideally within DOT or municipal environments.

Key Responsibilities:
· Project Leadership: Manage the planning, execution, and closeout of multiple roadway civil infrastructure projects, including road signs, signalization, and lighting systems.
· Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project costs, forecasts, and schedules to ensure alignment with budget targets.
· Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules; coordinate phasing with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
· Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with federal, state, and local codes, as well as DOT specifications.
· Team Management: Direct field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
· Client Communication: Serve as the primary liaison with clients, engineers, inspectors, and government agencies.
· Documentation: Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, punch lists, and all necessary documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
· Safety Oversight: Champion a safety-first culture on all job sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal safety protocols.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
· 5+ years of experience managing civil construction projects, preferably in roadway, signal, or lighting scopes
· Proven track record managing projects in the $1M–$10M+ range
· Strong knowledge of MUTCD, DOT standards, and municipal permitting
· Proficient in Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar project management software
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
· OSHA 30 certification preferred
· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to active job sites as needed (Indianapolis and surrounding area)
